Laughter…. oh the beauty of laughter.
Today I was done. After seeing God knows how many patients, writing God knows how many letters to insurance companies which only keeps me from taking care of those same patients; I was done.
Stick a fork in me , done.
But then I checked my FB and a post from my awesome sister said,
“What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.
Except for bears, bears will kill you.”
I laughed so hard that every useless stupid wasteful piece of paper on my overrun desk disappeared.
Thank you, I need that way more than some you can do it speech.
So stick it to the you can do it speech and thank you to the bear.
So here’s to not dead, not even close. Bear or no.
May you read something that makes you laugh your butt off. After all, isn’t that what writing is about to begin with… to take you to another world far away from this mad, mad place?
