Sneak Peek:

Once upon a time… in a little town not too far from this one, lived a tender-hearted boy named Jake Logan Robertson. And he knew a little something about hugs… and magic.
You see, Jake grew up in a special school for boys where they were always running out of things they needed.
Like shoes without holes…
And hats the right size…
And trucks that zoomed fast enough…
And trains that choo-chooed on tracks that stayed put…
And balls that bounced high in the sky…
And bubble-gum flavored toothpaste.
And once in a while… in really hard winters they even ran out food and blankets.
So some nights, despite an empty belly and frizzly toes, he cooed while all the other boys cried.
For Jake Logan Robertson knew a secret that nobody else ever knew before. He knew the power of hugs. That like magic, a good hug could fix anything. Even a grumbly tummy or crinkly, crackly, frost-bitten toes…
No matter what!
